Hello everyone,
quite a few people are put off by pc tools due to the fact the free versions claims to found infections in order to scare people to buying the product.
then then buy the product and run the scan, nothing is found since they where all false possitives in order to get people to buy the product.
why cant pctools just have a fully functional 30day trial for spyware doctor?

Hi
If you want a version that detects and removes spyware, try the Google Pack version (Google it to find it). It is free and receives the same updates as the standard version.
Hope that helps

From my knowledge, the trial will quarantine the threats, not remove them, once you purchase and register, by default im quite sure it is set to remove quartined items. Therefore when you scan again for the first time, it will not show those previous infections as when you registered it removed them immediately.

Hope that clears it up.

You can download Spyware Doctor with google pack from

http://www.pctools.com/spyware-doctor/google_pack/

The main difference between starter pack and the full version is the OnGuard Tools. In the starter pack you will only have 1 OnGuad tools (File Guard), But in the paid version, you will have everything.

I hope this helps

Cheers
