Cyberhawk doesn't seem to like Firefox on my machine. When I have Cyberhawk installed, I can not install add-ons in Firefox, I get error code 203. I used filemon and saw Cyberhawk was indeed intercepting my profile folder for Firefox. Anyone else seen this behavior?

Hi Drew99GT,

Could you please attach a screenshot of the error message to this thread? and we'll investigate this further.

Unfortunately I can't; I have my computer all fixed and I don't want to mess with it. When error code 203 pops up in Firefox with Cyberhawk running, it totally corrupts the profile folder and creates multiple entries. I have no clue why it's happening on my machine, but someone in the Comodo forums had the exact same issue, so it's not isolated. It only happens with Firefox 2 on my machine.

The error 203 is a universal error in Firefox when the profile folder gets corrupted with multiple entries.

Bump; anyone else still having problems with this?

I recently tried Threatfire, and it's still doing it. I also did a full clean reinstall of my operating system and it still does it! It must be something totally unique to my system and installed software. I've found one other instance of this problem in the Mozillazine forums.

Rats, this is the easiest security software out there and very effective.

Hi
What other security software are you running? Are you running the latest versions of all your software, including Firefox and ThreatFire?

I'm using Superantispyware Pro and Antivir and everything is updated including Firefox.

I still get the error message even with Threatfire being the only security software installed though.

I got error 203 running Avira Suite and Defensewall.

Tried installing TF with avira and defensewall disabled and that got rid of the problem.

I'm having another play with TF.

I get error 203 when installing extensions when I don't check the 'override max version for compatibility' box.

This option is available from the MR Tech Local Install option.

Drew, what Firefox extensions are you using if any at all?

I get the same problem - using NoScript, Adblock Plus, Download Statusbar, CSLite, IE Tab and MR Tech Local Install extensions.
