I have Spyware Doctor 5.0 WITHOUT antivirus, and now I am getting daily updates that include AV definitions that of course I don't need and don't want.
Of the three updates available today, two were AV, and I could not uncheck them, as I thought I would be able to do. It's all or nothing. The two AV updates amount to about 700K, whihc is not a problem as I have plenty of storage, but nevertheless, I don't want them installed.
I did not have any available downloads this week until today, which is unusual. Now I get this anomaly of updates to features I don't need and cannot exclude if I want to download the AS definitions.
Is PC Tools aware of this problem?

Hi Guys,
If you do not want the AV updates, you'll need to install the SD standalone, not the SD+AV.

I do have the standalone, not the SD+AV, so that was not the issue.
The last update did not have any AV definitions listed, so apparently this particular problem has resolved itself, unless there were no AV definitions available.
I'll post if this problem recurs.

Aloha Anthony,
I have SD 5 stand alone and generally run my registry scanner/cleaner several times a week because I beta a lot of programs. On several occasions, it has picked up SD Registry entries pertaining to the SD with AV program which reference files that aren't there! Leads me to belive that the stand alone version is a stripped down version of the SD+AV program, and some programmer missed a few things!

Hi DRDRJAY,
Could you please send the log files or screenshot of the registry keys being picked up and we'll investigate this further.
