View Full Version : My Ultimatum To PCTools
Hi PCTools
Listen carefully;
If you do not get your products (particularly RM/PG or DM) fully compatible with Vista 64-bit by 1 July 2007, I will chain myself naked to the gates of Downing Street and continuously sing sea shanties in protest.
You have been warned. :p

Very funny, but I would rather have them take their time and release a product that works seemlessly with Vista 64bit, remember all drivers have to be signed my Microsoft for it to run in the 64 bit version. Others have released products that have been a disaster, I am glad PC Tools is taking their time to release a quality product rather than rush and have a product that does not work. ;)

Can you make sure you burn it on CD and send a copy to PC Tools when you are done singing :-). Really, it's not PC Tools that is having a seemingly hard time coming out with the Vista 64bit versions of their software but I must say it is kinda slack of them not to have come out with Vista 32 bit fully compatible versions for all their software by now, save Spyware Doctor 5!!!!!!! Although I heard a rumor that Registry Mechanic will be fully Vista 32bit compatible soon in the next version that is due out shortly.

Very original indeed. I have gone fully 64-bit too and will patiently wait. It is not entirely third-party vendors' fault. Most vendors seem to be waiting for Vista SP1 to see what changes to the kernel are yet to be made. :D
