Problems with Vista - Please Help

I have just purchased a new computer that uses Windows Vista. I am having to use Internet Explorer 7 with this and am having major problems with it. I cant seem to click on emoticons on forums, am unable to post links or images in forums using the IMG and HTTP tabs, and am also unable to access hotmail as it says it requires javascript.

Can anyone tell me if these problems can be rectified?

Try going to www.java.com and download the latest java update and see if it works :)
