Updates causing me strife.

Hi,

Is there a way of changing the frequency Cyberhawk checks for updates or at least make it less intrusive? I don't know how often it checks at the moment but it's fairly frequent and if I'm playing a game it minimises the game to the desktop and usually the game crashes. Very annoying. At the moment I have disabled automatic updates because of this.

Cyberhawk checks approx every 4 hrs for updates automatically, although this is the first time we have heard of Cyberhawk updates causing any program to be minimized, since there is no alert for these updates.

Could you give some more information as to:
What game are you playing, so I can try and re-create (all in the name of testing of course ;-) ) what you are seeing.

Do you get an alert from Cyberhawk, and if so, what alert are you seeing? I am suspicious that it might be a false positive alert about the game, and not an update issue, but still good to know what exactly you are seeing.

Hi,

GTA San Andreas is the only game I've played in the last few days so I have only witnessed this problem with that.

The reason it's being minimised is because a window is popping up from Cyberhawk saying it's checking for updates (see screenshot attached). It's definitely not a false-positve.

Very strange. This window does not pop up unless you manually choose the "Update Now" from the Help drop down menu.

Well it does on my system! :confused:

I'll re-enable the automatic updates and confirm it's still happening.
