need help with hard drives.

Does anyone know how I can make it so that nothing can be changed, copied or deleted from my drive? pretty much read-only but not the option in windows, is there another way of getting the same effect?

Your best bet is a full backup with daily incremental backups. Lets face it, the disk has data being witten to and from it constantly. If you have someone messing with the system, there are some locking software programs available, but Windows security is a joke.
