Does this run in real time?

Does privacy manager run behind the scenes in real time? Something I read made me think so. Awhile back I could swear I opened it up and ended up with an icon in my tray like it was running. Has not happened since.
Also, I have set it to run every 2 hours but it does not seem to be doing that. I went in today and it said a scan had not been run for 14 days.
Am I missing something in the settings?

Hi Deb,

Privacy Guardian does not monitor in realtime but there is an option to have Privacy Guardian scan every 30 minutes, hourr etc, you can find this option in Privacy Guardian-> Settings.
