Smart Update Failed

I recently switched from "AVG" anti virus and firewall to "Norton Internet Security 2007"

Now several times a day I get a pop up saying something to the effect of "Smart Update Has Failed unable to connect to internet"

I can still update "Spyware Doctor" manually but I miss having the automatic updates.

I can't figure out how to configure my "Norton Firewall" to allow access by Sprware Doctor Updates.

Go to Norton main GUI (I forget what they call it), find Firewall Personal Files or something like that (usually you have to turn off the firewall for a few minutes), then go to add a program, then find it C:\Program Files\Spyware Doctor and locate the Update.exe file and click open. It will save it in the Norton firewall okay programs to access the internet. Sorry, I just can't remember the actual Norton names.

Smart Update falied to work on SDV4.1 even though "AutomaticallySearch for updates " is selected. Also scanning is using 100% of CPU .
