i have started receiving numerous popup warnings from Process Guard saying a hidden process has been detected and gives the option of deleting on next reboot. Problem is all the popups refer to trusted installed applications. I have added these apps to the exclusion list but it still happens. It has started after i installed outpost FW 4. This may be just a coincidence. Any ideas?

This is strange. :(
Which version of Spyware Doctor and which version of Windows are you using?

Hi
Yes very strange. I have been using SD for about 3 yrs and never seen anything like this. I have latest SD (V 5.0.0.184 updated) and WinXP Home SP2 fully updated. I have no way of showing this but i suspect there is some conflict with Outpost FW as it has only started this behaviour after installing Outpost.

now every application that i run triggers SD Process Guard with the usual warning to delete Y/N on next reboot. This is very annoying to say the least.

Hi there,
As this started occuring after the install of Outpost, you might want to check in that program what sort of rules have been setup in regards to spyware doctor.

Thanx Warren
Done that. Rules setup up with rules wizard and all access given to SD. There are no errors from Outpost - everything seems fine. I have checked Outpost forums but can not find anything like this on those forums. There have been some SD/Outpost issues but they seem to relate to SD trying to shutdown Outpost. I dont have that problem
