Hi tig2020,
There is no upgrade path from Registry Mechanic or Privacy Guardian to Desktop Manager.
If you are within 30 days of purchase or renewal, you may obtain a refund and then purchase Desktop Mechanic.
However, please note that there are some functions in Registry Mechanic and Privacy Guardian that are not included in the Desktop Mechanic - e.g. Document Shredder.

Hmmm - Then I am confused. Are the two programs mentioned above (PG and RM) fully compatible and supported with Windows Vista Ultimate. From your discription page for RM (Designed for Windows 98, Me, 2000 and XP, with basic support for Windows Vista™ ) What does basic suport mean. Please advise.

Hi tig2020,
'Basic support for Windows Vista" means that Registry Mechanic has passed basic functionality tests with Vista. However, as Registry Mechanic was designed without consideration for Vista specifically and with so many still unknown scenarios with Vista we cannot guarantee that Registry Mechanic 6.0 will be 100% compatible and error free with the Vista Operating System.
Our developers are currently working on a new version of Registry Mechanic that is being designed for the Vista Operating System (as well as Windows 98, Me, 2000 and XP)
We anticipate that this new 'Designed for Vista version of Registry Mechanic will be released shortly.

Also to add to what Support has mentioned, the new build of RM should be released sometime next week. Once I receive the date of release I will be update this on the forum.
