On-demand scanner lock up

When doing an "intelli-scan", the scanner locks up at about 90% complete. The current scanner is the "startup scanner" and it gets to about 8% through inspecting the startup points, then locks completely up. This is not an occasional thing but has happened multiple times. Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions? I am running vs. 5.0.0.184. :(

Hey Ron,

Nope, haven't come across this yet.
Try running a SDv5 scan in safemode. This should hopefully get you past that point.

also, could you try to disable the option"Scan for rootkit hidden files" under "settings-scan settings"

I'll try to do this...but I sometomes have trouble with the "print screen" function on my pc for some odd reason...but I really appreciate your suggestions and will let you know what I find out! :)
