View Full Version : Windows Dialup adapter
I'm looking for a way to get windows 98 to allow 2 dialup connections eg: one on an ADSL modem the other on a PCI modem.
Help Appreciated

J am not sure, if this is what you are asking for:
First ControlPanel>Modem and make sure that both are defined (or does ADSL connect thru ethernet?).
In ControlPanel>Network and Dialup define a further entry for the second connection with the other device with all necessary (same or different) parameters.
In ControlPanel>Internet Options define your preferred / default device.
When doing dialing, do NOT specify "Connect Automatically" and you have a choice to choose a different connection.
So now you will get ONE connection. Speaking about internet access, this would connect you to your ISP. Once you have a running internet connection, you do not have the chance to set up a second TCP/IP path concurrently.
But the defined connections could possibly be used by programs that directly dials into a host that doesn't use TCP/IP.
