Is this program Vista X64 compatible?
Hi, desktop mechanic does not support 64 bit Vista. In fact, I believed not much products support 64 bits platform

I believe the guys at pc tools are making their products compatiable with the 64 bit platforms. This may take some time, but hopefully it will be available for those with 64 bit.
Cheers,

Correction: Accordingly to their website...Desktop Mechanic is Designed for Windows® 98, Me, 2000 and XP, with basic support for Windows® Vista™. So the keyword here is Basic Support for Windows Vista. Well, I think we will have to wait for Registry Mechanic Full Windows Vista version to be out first before we can see the same in Desktop Mechanic which is bundled with Privacy Guardian. Anyway, PC Tools is not giving out much information when it comes to the Vista version release date for any of their non-Spyware Doctor products at the moment. But hey, as long as they are coming, I guess we can wait and meanwhile some of us might want to try something else just to fill in the time ;-)

The last time I asked them, they are still rather honestly and decently busy with the 32bits of full vista versions for all their other non-Spyware Doctor products, including Desktop Mechanic.
