ok, further to my little experiment, both 4 and 5 are working fine on vista. On boot, it seems to be that with v5 it has disabled itself allowing the pc to boot and then boots SD which allows the pc to boot fully.
So if it's working with vista (and have symantec av enterprise vista edition also running) how come not so with XP? Is there much of a difference between OS's? (this is 32bit version by the way) as I thought they were basically the same under the hood?
