This is very annoying, frustrating, and maddening. I installed the Spyware Docter Version 5, (Unregistered) on my computer and made a scan. I FOUND 7 TROJANS WHICH SPYWARE DOCTOR SAYS IS HIGHLY DANGEROUS ON MY COMPUTER!!!!!!!!

Guess what? I can't do anything about it. I can't since I don't know how to do that manually and I can't because the Spyware Doctor is an unregistered version and costs way more than I could afford.

Spyware doctor also doesn't even let me fix at least 10 problems. Not even 1. All I can do with the unregistered copy of Spyware doctor is scan and be frustrated at being helpless.

Can't you, makers of Spyware Doctor at least let unregistered people fix at least 10 problems????

AUURGHH. I FINALLY FOUND THE SPYWARE BUT IT FRUSTRATES ME THATI CAN"T KILL THOSE EFING (****ING) COMPUTER PARASITES)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!

Kind regards?

I'm now scanning my computer again with it and I have found 15 INFECTIONS with only 25% done!!!!!!! My computer is getting slower and slower all the time, I have no money whatsoever to buy Spyware doctor, I have no knowledge on how to remove the spyware manually, and this unregistered version of Spyware Doctor doesn't even let me fix at least 10 infections.

At least make the unregistered version fix limited amount of infections. And anyway, what is the e-mail address of the support group? I couldn't find any contact information whatsoever on this site other than this forum. Hm?

Bogey:

Stop whining!

Nothing is for free!

You get a free scanner which tells You Your computer might be full of malware.

You want to get rid of it - You have to pay!

There are other programs out there, try Spy Sweeper from Webroot, perhaps that one is more 'friendly' in Your eyes?

However if installing anothe similar program, I recommend to completely uninstall what You have first to avoit conflicts.

Im not defending PC Tools, or promoting Spysweeper, just stating facts.

But as a suggestion to PC Tools, perhaps a 'full' free version with a limmited time or removal numbers might be a way of prooving that it works. As the situation is with the SD5 and quite some other issues, renewal, marketing ++, it might be some new incentives needed or the only users left might be the 'shills'!

Don't be a cheapskate! Actually, yr being pretty cheeky here - we are all subscribers and paying customers here. At least all the moaners about SD5 have a right to moan as they actually bought it! I can't believe you can't afford to buy it...

If you cannot afford or don't want to buy an anti-spyware program, I suggest you look for a free application. You can find out about these from reputable sites like pcworld.com, pcmag.com, and cnet.com, among others. Some programs come with free trial periods (usually 15 days) where they are fully fuctional during the trial period. If you don't have a firewall and/or anti-virus, you might want to check some of these freebies, too. Of course, freebies are usually limited, so any particular program may or may not be able to help with your specific problems. You are living very dangerously if you don't have some kind of protection!

Is this some kind of joke? You can afford a pc and the internet but u cant afford 30 dollars? Its only your problem if your to cheap to protect your computer, no one else's.
