Can not delete Spy Doctor

Can anybody explain how I can delete this pesty programme.
I have tried the uninstall programme that came with it and it just directs me to purchase a 6 month trial.
I have tried add and remove but that does not work either.
Help me please.

Try to shut it down, right click sys-tray icon, restart and uninstall through control panel add/remove. In worst case even try in safe mode.

Make sure you have exited Spyware Doctor completely before attempting to remove the program.
