Where is the download for SD4?

I have the same problem as everyone else re Spyware doctor 5 and reboot hell, unable to access websites etc etc.

I want to revert back to SD 4 which appears to be ok according to the users, but correct me if I am wrong!!!

Can someone please tell me where the official link is to dowload SD4 not some dodgy one off google please?

Thanks although it did not work, it kept taking me to reboot hell.

In the end I had to go in to safemode and remove it.

I thought others were ok with S4. I also have the latest version of Zonealarm 7.

ZoneAlarm 7 is not compatible with SDv4. What do you mean it did not work? How did you uninstall SDv5?

I see. It seems to work for some people with ZA 7, so I am not sure why that is.

When I said it does not work, what I meant is I managed to install it, but my PC then kept rebooting. Each time it rebooted it started up and got me to the point when everything had loaded and then rebooted and rebooted etc.

I could not use or uninstall SD4 as the machine kept rebooting. I only managed to uninstall it by going in to safe mode.

With SD5, I managed to install and run it, but I had problems as the browsers would not connect to the internet (one of your known problems). I then managed to uninstall it in normal mode.

I did manage to run a sweep in SD5 but it took about 2-3 hours as opposed to 30 mins in SD4.

To use SDv4 please do the following:
1. Download the file from www.pctools.com/spyware-doctor/version4/
2. If you have removed SDv4 previously with uninstall please find and delete any folders/files related (usually in C:\Program Files\Spyware Doctor)
3. restart PC
4. Install the file from step 1
This is required as the uninstaller for SDv5 can sometimes leave some files/folders behind which cause serious problems withSDv4

I tried as you suggested and that still did not help. I still got taken to reboot hell.

again In the end I had to go in to safemode and remove it.

I can no longer run either SD4 or sd5.
