Hi

I was unable to use my Quicken software to update my accounts and it came up with failure to Smart Update. As well, I received an error message from my system (RTHDCPL.EXE Illegal System DLL Relocation). This happened right after my download of Spyware. Please help.

Hi Honeh,

Try adding Quicken into Spyware Doctor's Global action list, this will prevent OnGuard interfering with the application.

To add file 'processes' to the Global Action List, please follow these steps:

1. Open Spyware Doctor and select the 'Settings' button >> 'Global Action List'.
2. Click the 'Add' button and the 'Add New Rule' box will appear.
3. At the ' Select data type: ' dropdown box make sure you select "File on disk".
4. Browse for the 'executable file' (.exe file) that opens and runs the application in question.
5. Once the file is selected, at the bottom dropdown box make sure " Always allow " is selected, then click the 'Add' button.

The file is now added and will be ignored by all OnGuard Tools and Spyware Doctor scans.
