Spyware Doctor Virus protection

Hi folks, I recently upgraded to the latest and could not understand why my friends could not receive any attachments I send them.
I finally found out that this happens when SD is set to scan outgoing emails. Have since disabled that
I wasted quite a bit of time as I had send many emails with photos and excel spreadsheet, so had to resend all of them.
Hope you won't have to experience that

Which version of SD did you use? It states in this thread - http://www.pctools.com/forum/showthread.php?t=46290 email guard has been removed for the time being, so not really sure why it is blocking those attachments from sending. Maybe you can try disable File guard. There is an issue where file guard is slowing down some email clients. Also what email client are you using?
