Spyware Doctor

I have posted this elsewhere on your forum, but as I use Spyware Doctor, it could be relivant to this topic so I have posted it here too - sorry if any confusion is made by this

Right, well this might or might not be an IE problem, as its not the only program this is effected............. Basically, im getting an error literally every 20 mins, whether it be IE6, Windows Media, Roller Coaster Tycoon, Fruit Machine emulator....... basically any program im using, I am getting an error where the program has to terminate - when I click on the error information, its refering back to a text file (ive already researched this and its basically just writing to the file a log and is not the actual problem). Also from time to time, im using IE and all of a sudden, without notice of any errors, IE just closes itself down.

This is really annoying me this problem, as I have virus scanned and used Spyware Doctor to remove viruses and spyware etc, but I have still not found whats the do. I have Hijack This, if anyone can help me , or is willing to help me, id be very appriciative

Can you post a screenshot of any error screens and/or provide an error number? I will happily look at a Hijack This log.

I dont see anything malicious in the log. Seeing the error number/screenshot will be of great use in diagnosing the issue. Please can i clarify:
You are running SD v4 ?
You are running AVG 7.5 AV?
Are XP and IE6 fully patched?

Im running SD v3.2.2.417 and the AVG 7.5 free.

Excuse me for sounding thick as two planks, but what do you mean by fully patched IE6 and XP?

As i was typing a minute ago, IE just closed on its own accord , no notice :(

Sorry, do you run windows updates regularly? (bear in mind microsoft released an urgent patch last week)
I would advise upgrading to SD v4 here (http://www.pctools.com/spyware-doctor/version4/)
Hopefully you'll be able to post a screenshot soon!
In the meantime, can you please do the following:
1. Click Start
2. Open Control Panel
3. Open Administrative Tools
4. Open Event Viewer
5. Search for error entries and tell me what errors are there (if there are any!)

Hi
Well "mshtml.dll" is the Microsoft html script. I cant find any results for the Offset number. Im afraid at the moment im a bit stumped, hopefully someone with greater knowledge than me may pass by and lend a hand.
You could also try installing IE7 see if that helps.
