Every time after boot, if I run IExplorer it tells me that "no connection is availible". Then I click "try again" and everything works fine. How can I fix that?

in IE File menu, uncheck "Work Offline".
Same flag used also in Outlook Express.
Will also be set in Dialup when you cancel a connection attempt.
This privacy flag makes sense, if you have a permanent internet connection and you do not want IE or Outlook Express connect "behind your back" to internet hosts for locally viewed content.
