need a copy of regedit

Hi, can anyone email me a copy of regedit.exe renamed to regedit.com? I am trying to delete a virus from my father's computer. I appreciate any help.

best if you start your computer from the ERD floppy, then you should be able to execute REGEDIT from the command line.

or if you still can start the DOS window, use command
COPY <windir>\REGEDIT.EXE <anydir>\REGEDIT.COM
but maybe you can use
START REGEDIT
at the command prompt in DOS window
