Multiple problems

I don't think these are registry related, but they may be. Nevertheless, I'm asking them here because they're more general than anything.

I'm using Win98, and for some reason I don't have a "Sort by name" option in my start menu when I right click. Does anyone know why?

Also, I originally had a "Stretch" option in my display properties for background pictures, but it's mysteriously disappeared over the last two days. I'm confused...

Lastly (and this is most likely to be a registry thing), my Start|Documents is no longer displaying "(Empty)" when it's empty. Could someone tell me how to get this back?

I'd say these are definitly registry related. The first one sounds like a deleted key. The second may or may not be related to something in PLUS!. (Windows 95 didn't allow you to stretch an image either, unless you installed the optional 'and seperately purchased' PLUS! software). Most of the modifications that the optional package installed became permanent in 98, but they are probably, knowing microsoft, seperate software drivers, etc., that can get trashed. The last item is almost certainly in the registry as well. I am not sure just which keys relate to these things though.
