Internet connection sharing

I just installed a Netgear phoneline network, can't get internet connection sharing to work. The software that came with it didn't work, so I uninstalled that and tried Windows bulit in internet connection sharing. (I'm running win98 with a 56K modem.) When I install Windows Internet connection sharing I have problems:I can connect to the internet from the gateway computer, but no pages load, I constantly get the "page cannot be displayed" message. If I uninstall everything related to connection sharing, the network is fine and so is connecting to the internet from either computer individually. What is my problem?

My network configuration shows 2 NetBEUI and 2 TCP/IP listings, one each for dial-up adaptor and Netgear phoneline adaptor.

Any help is really appreciated.

You need to put DNS (your ISP's) entries in the TCP/IP properties on so that the gateway knows where to route.
