Win 2000 Clock

I notice from time to time my win2k clock speeds up and I always have to set it back to the right time, is there a fix for this.

(1) are you connected to a LAN where the server syncs the time at logon, and is itself running with a time offset ?
(2) your (CMOS) battery may be reaching end of life
(3) otherwise search for shareware that syncs your system clock using atomic watches connected to the internet (sorry, never tried them myself, so J have no recent reference for you).
