Move My Documents folder

I'd like to move the My documents folder from c:\ to d:\. Is there any special associations in the registry I should change, or is there anything else I should think about? Running Win98SE.

Isn't drive d your disk drive?

Nope. My hard disk is partitioned into c:\ and d:\. 2GB resp. 2.5GB.

<font color=blue> I am guessing that the My Documents folder will only stay on the Harddrive or partition that has windows on it, but you can always make a new My Documents folder. <font color=blue>

Hi!

1. Select the "My document" icon on your desktop.
2. Right click on the mouse and select the settings.
3. Change the target, any valid path will do.
