Hi, I originally installed SPAM Monitor and got a great toolbar in Outlook that allowed me to select mails and add to SPAM etc. Unfortunately I was having errors with Outlook and had to repair it. Now the toolbar has gone and even after re-installing SPAM Monitor I cannot get this toolbar back. Please help, this was one of the main selling features of the product.

Hi AChen, have followed your instructions to the rule but unfortunately the toolbar is still missing. Have gone back to check disabled items and the Spam Monitor toolbar is no longer there.

I am a new user to PC Tools, and I am disappointed in the SPAM monitor. It marks non-spam as spam, and does not mark real spam. There is no such tool bar, after installing and reinstalling, checking for disable etc. I have tried expanding tool bars, changing setting in PC Tools etc. I am using OUTLOOK, not Outlook Express. The rest of the product is fine but the spam filter is not.

It appears that you are referring to the Spam Monitor in the Internet Security Suite? is this correct?
The currently version of SM in PCTIS does not have the Outlook toolbar at this stage and the devs are working on adding this and also working on a learning engine and will add this with future releases.

Thank you for your response. You are correct, I am using the PC Tools Suite. I spent some amount of time trying to make a toolbar appear that is not in the release!
Making the changes you are indicating in future product will make it much more effective in my mind. Thank you!

For some reason I have lost the Spam Monitor toolbar and buttons in Outlook 2000. All of the mail comes into my general delivery mailbox. I also do not have the option of manually tagging new spam messages or to block senders. These are the steps I have followed:
If your Spam Monitor toolbar is not showing in Outlook, please follow the instructions below to rectify the problem.
1. Open Outlook
2. Click on 'Help' > 'About Microsoft Office Outlook'
3. Click on 'Disabled Items...'
4. Select the Spam Monitor toolbar and click on 'Enable'
5. Restart Outlook
Unfortunately when I click on the 'About Microsoft Office Outlook' button I am not seeing a "Disabled Items" button.
What next?
Please help.

If the following solution does not work:
1. Open Outlook
2. Click on 'Help' > 'About Microsoft Office Outlook'
3. Click on 'Disabled Items...'
4. Select the Spam Monitor toolbar and click on 'Enable'
5. Restart Outlook
Try resetting the Outlook toolbar registration:
1. Close Outlook
2. Use SMOutlook.reg in Spam Monitor is installed to the default folder : C:\Program Files\Spam Monitor
- Use SMOutlookToolbarReset.reg if SM is installed to a non-default folder.
3. Start Outlook.

So, I clicked on Tools, then Options, then Advanced Options and then Add-In Manager. In the Add-In Manager I found several programs that were listed and boxes to check for installation. I clicked Spam Monitor and like magic I had my toolbar back.
Thanks for your help.
