Hi,

In regards to the update problem, if you do have Norton AntiVirus or Internet Security, please completely exit both programs temporarily and try to perform Smart Update again. This is a known issue and we are currently trying to solve this issue with Norton.

A. How to disable Norton AntiVirus 2007:
========================================
We assume Norton Antivirus 2007 is currently runing, 1. If you see the icon on your system tray please right the icon and click on 'Disable'.
2. If you cannot see then open the Norton program > Click on settings > Auto Protect > Turn Off.


B. How to disable Norton Internet Security 2007:
================================================
1. Open the product
2. Click on Settings
3. When you highlight the features you will get 'turn off' button please click the 'turn off' button.

Please note that adding Spyware Doctor into Norton's allow list will not solve the problem.

If Smart Update still does not work, we recommend all users to continue to perform updates on their install of Norton Internet Security to ensure that you receive the fix as soon as possible.
