Hey,I found the upgrade news about the latest version 5.0.0.174 for SD5 yesterday and downloaded the package soon. Today, I 've just installed version 5.0.0.174 but met something wrong with it, hope somebody could give me tips.

1) The version was still 5.0.0.169 when I finished the installation, I have to get v5.0.0.174 by another update. So I think the original program you launched in the official website was still v5.0.0.169, in other words, there is no independent package for v5.0.0.174, right?

2) When I closed all the processes of SD5 and restarted my PC, everything went well, but one thing, my pc tools firewall plus was terminated (exactly the process named firewallGUI.exe was finished ) by opening the the GUI interface of SD5, made me unhappy.

3) While I runed smart update, the interface seemed it has been freezed! So I tended to cancel this job. It was so frastrating that an popup prompted me " coz it is locked by system,you can't finish it."

If you have the 169 and perform a Smart Update, this will get you to 174. The pctools website offers 174 for download. If you are still downloading the 169 it may still be stored in your isp's cache. Until this is cleared, you will be able to download the 174.

Not really understanding question 2? But from what you are saying, maybe uninstall SD, see if the firewall works as it should. Re-install 174 in safemode to avoid any potential conflicts and try running a Smart Update once SD has been installed to see if it still causes the freezing up.
