Menu Delay in IE4

I don't have Win98 yet, but installed IE4 + active desktop in my Win95. Since then, the Start Menu response has slowed down again, even after I re-tweaked the corresponding registry item. Context menus and dropdown menus in other applications are stil fine, flying out instantly, but the Start Menu is still slow. What key or string value should I be looking for to fix this and speed up my Start Menu again?

yeah mate, go to this key
Hkey_Current_User/Control Panel/Desktop. Now create a new string called "ShowMenuDelay", and edit the strings data to read "10",
then restart Explorer or reboot to reap your seed.
