Winnt Folder contents opens up when I login

I have a Windows NT workstation machine. Whenever I login, the winnt folder opens up automatically. I do not know how to disable this.

What is the reason for the winnt folder to open up automatically?

I have checked the registry, but could not find any keys that were responsible for this behaviour ...

I would appreciate if anyone can explain this behaviour and how to rectify it ...
