We use Windows 98 and Internet Explorer v. 4.01. I would like to restrict the students from accessing the "C: drive from the address bar in Internet Explorer 4.01. I have edited the registry so that when they type C: in the address bar, access is restricted. However, if they click on the arrow for the drop-down list in the address bar, they can still access anything on the computer. Do you have any suggestions on how to restrict the students from doing this? Thanks for your time.
