How do I manually uninstall SD 5 from my vista PC? It refuses to run or uninstall

Hi dman,

To uninstall:
1. Click Windows logo on the bottom left corner of your screen.
2. Click All programs.
3. Click Spyware Doctor folder.
4. Click Uninstall Spyware Doctor

Then, there will be a window prompted you whether to Cancel or Allow, please select 'Allow' and continue to complete the rest of uninstallation process.

Maybe I should have elaborated... when I try to uninstall Spyware Doctor I get an error message "Setup/Uninstall has stopped working, windows can check online for a solution to the problem". Your options at this point is to check online and close the program or close the program.

Whenever I try to run Spyware Doctor it crashes when loading one of the services, I have to shut down the service which is shown as "starting" to close Spyware Doctor. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times. At this point I might just delete the directory and edit the registry myself.... I want it gone because I have already switched to another app that works, even with a few months remaining.

Hey dman,

There was a problem with the uninstaller for SD in previous versions, seen in other post, but looks like this has been fixed. To properly uninstall everything, re-install the latest version again, then run the uninstall. This should make sure everything is gone.
