spyware doctor with anti virus v5

i have been running spyware doctor and anti virus which i purchases separately. today i got an update message which i followed, and it told me i need to switch over to use one product, spyware doctor with antivirus. why? i like having them separate so if i become displeased with one or the other i can swap them out.

now that i have them in one package, does simply starting up spyware doctor now also cover anti virus? do i uninstall my previous version of anti virus from pc tools? the set up didnt do anything with it, it left it running. the instructions i received during the update were not clear to me as to what i should do.

The reason we put it together in Spyware Doctor 5 is only for user convenience. Users can turn on and off AntiVirus inside Spyware Doctor settings, instead of having two seperate programs.

We recommend you to download Spyware Doctor with AntiVirus here: http://www.pctools.com/spyware-doctor-antivirus/download/

When you start up Spyware Doctor, the AntiVirus engine that comes with Spyware Doctor 5 will also start. Therefore you have to turn off PC Tools Antivirus when you start using "Spyware Doctor 5 with Antivirus".

I would recommend you to uninstall PC Tools AntiVirus after installing Spyware Doctor with AntiVirus.
