Hi...Warning!! Check your Global Action Lists after SD5 installation.
New problem with SD5 w PCTAV installation.
Post installation and scanning, I checked the Global Action Lists. I found two URL's that were unexpected -- I've never accessed them. Curious, I googled them:
1) guideworks.com
2) winguide.com
guideworks.com is a Mac free software site that IE7 would not access in its new SD5 "snail mode."
winguide.com is a HUGE problem. It is a Windows free software site that upon access attempted about 20 popup and malware access and download functions in less than 2 minutes!!
Downloading SD5 this am was a big mistake. Every PC function absymally slow, IE7 very slow access. Crashed to blue screen on first attempt at opening Outlook Express. The global action list stuff blew me away...DOES PCTOOLS KNOW IT IS INFECTING US?
