I've been running 4.0 for over a year and overnight my PC detected the availability of the 5.0 update so I just followed the instructions for the download.
On the web site that the popup message directed me to one of the bullet points under step 3 says: "From the status screen, please select 'Immunize Your Computer' and 'Immunize Now'". This is confusing (at least to me) because it bears no relation to the status screen on 5.0, i.e. none of the buttons/selections it mentions exist. Did someone write this still thinking of the 4.0 Status screen setup?
On my 5.0 installation my Status screen doesn't have any 'Immunize Your Computer' or 'Immunize Now' buttons or selections that I can see. If I click the second button ("Computer Immunization = <ON/OFF>") it just toggles the state between on and off. Is this bullet point in the instructions really just trying to tell me to make sure that the second button ("Computer Immunization") is set to "ON" or is there something else I'm supposed to do at this step?
I know it's minor, but if my suspicion above is correct then I suggest that someone at PC Tools make that little change on step 3 of the upgrade instructions so that they match the on-screen 5.0 behaviour.
Apart form the very minor issue above 5.0 seems to be working beautifully for me and the free virus addin is a really nice extra for loyal customers so thanks for that.
