I can't belive you actually advertise this as designed for Vista!

I restored my machine with an image of Vista only, and then installed version 5, same thing. Everyting is slowed down to a crawl. Do you all actually test this software?

I would have waited a week of two for the final version, but after posting a previous beta version as the final when there had been numerous complaints about serious performance issuses is a complete mystery.

I have since installed one of the competitors, that also says it works with Vista. Guess what it DOES. Good-bye PC Tools!

Your post doesn't contain specific information to help you out quicker, what you described is very general. You might need to disable AV plugin for Spyware Doctor, as it could be conflicting with your anti-virus program.

Disable AV plugin

1. Open Spyware Doctor
2. Click "Settings" button
3. Locate "Anti-Virus" button and if it is there click it
4. Untick box opposite "Enable full Anti-Virus integration"

Did you ever consider deleting version 5 and going back to version 4?? Version 4 works just fine and when 5 is fixed then you can upgrade.
