:( I noticed v5 was now listed as final version, so I checked the forum and found most bugs are supposedly fixed. So I downloaded it, uninstalled v4 and installed v5. Wow, what a mistake! Here is a list of immediate effects on my system (WinXP Sp2, KIS v6.01.411, AthlonX2 4200, 1Gig Ram)
1. Killed my DVDRW drive after freezing it during a burn session!
2. On a restart, failed to correctly load my user profile as 'a component of Spyware Doctor is not a valid windows image' ???? What's that all about?
3. Shutdown stalled and did not complete, even after waiting 15 mins!
4.On subsequent restarts, system stalled and locked up or took an interminable age (10+ mins) to finish.
5.Started to get the 'incorrect windows image nag when right clicking various icons etc.

I have therefore uninstalled and gone back to v4. I will now wait until it appears 90% of customers can claim it's OK (probably in about a years time - ha ha)

I managed to repair my drive problem, for some reason Windows had reduced the transfer mode to PIO, because of the crash caused by SD5.:(
