Application Error

Just upgraded from 4.0 to 5.0 Spyware Doctor. Now every time I close SD, I keep getting an Application Error....."Instructions at 0x02203d70 referenced memory at 0x0000000. The memory could not be "read". Click OK to terminate the program." However, if I click OK, the message does not go away. How can I correct this? I have to reboot to regain access to my computer! Thanks.

Hey Henry,

This could possibly be malware related. I remember having this problem and I ran a scan in safemode and removed the infections found. Problem disappeared. Reboot in normal mode and see if the message comes back.

Hello There,
I have just "upgraded" ? to version 5 and I am getting exactly the same message, however I can get rid of it by clicking red X top right hand corner of box several times, is there any progress being made to correct this problem.

This issue has already been escalated. The developers are still working on a fix for this application error.
