Update Question

I should have read the thread below about the file loading each time, rather than adding to a existing database. I paid for version 4.0.0.2621 and have 193 days to go on my subscription. Can I download and use version 5 for the remainder of my subscription or will I have to pay for another years use?

I am probably guilty of overkill, but I also have the free products: Windows Defender, Spybot S&D, Ad-Aware and Spyware Blaster and they all seem to play well together. Thanks for any advice and info.

Hi, Skylar, I'm Keith. If you've read my posts and some others, you'll see some of us have had some problems. I wish I had come to this forum before yesterday, and I wish I hadn't been so eager to get the new version. I wish I had held off a little while and followed this forum to see what was up.

As far as your subscription is concerned, you are entitled to the upgrade for free. In fact, after you d/l the upgrade, they offer the Anti-Virus as a free bonus. But it's up to you if you want the upgrade and thefree a/v. Right now I'm looking to re-install V4.
