Volume

My system seems to reset back to very quiet volume controls everytime it restarts and sometimes after I finish listening to one song, it's really annoying!! Any ideas on how to fix this? I need the settings I set to stay!

I don't think so, but there isn't a save in my volume control panel, do I just go to options > exit? or is there a special something I have to do?
