Easiest way is to get hold of "Laplink" software - may not be cheapest though!

Well, there's the Direct Cable Connection that comes with Windows 95/98. It's free, but I don't know how good it is. If you have Dos 6.x, you can use the Interlnk program that comes with it. I've used this to a fairly high degree of success for backing up programs from one computer to another. You will still need a laplink or null-modem cable, though.

use a trial version of GHOST program from WWW.SYMATIC.COM. However, you need a null modem cable or a printer cable with male pins on either end

Get an external Zip Drive that connects to the parallel port. The parallel port and the printer port are one and the same. A Zip Drive can be connected, the driver installed, the file transferred to a Zip disk, and the Zip Drive disconnected- all in about 10 minutes once you have done it a time or two.
