3500++ virus sample

There're 3500++ virus sample in this zip file.PC TOOLS AV only can detect 3160 virus...
Some of the virus are quite old.
Hope MRC Team can do a research about this sample.

These files are ancient DOS viruses that might even have problems running on today's computers, much less pose a threat to anyone.

I'd rather PC Tools spend its time on paying attention to real problems than creating signatures for obsolete viruses like these. ;)

I guess they have to start somewhere.... I read somewhere that they have an update every business-day... that has to be at least one new virus every day :P

In my opinion,PC Tools Antivirus now isn't effective like in the 2006; in a test of 2006, it not detect (PC Tools Antivirus was tested in 2006 with about 1500 infected file) only 11 infected file, 8 were adware that Spyware Doctor could detect.

Now, in may 2008, I re-tested it with Spyware Doctor Starter Edition (that hasn't a full database); it not detect 79 infected file..After 2 years PC Tools Antivirus became not enough effective to protect a pc used a lot..
