Yes It Has Happened Again, message Was The Same-
"ntldr Missing
Press Ctrl/alt /del To Restart"
Had To Use Acronis Again-it Is A Wonderful Prog. & Came With My Freecom 160gb Harddisk Which I Use For Backup. Restoring The Pc Disk Image From The Freecom Neccessitated Wiping The Pc Disk First -so Restoring Was A Long Process!

The Only common Element For This And Crash No1 (see My Previous Posting) Was That I Had "compacted My Register" Using Register Mechanic Which Was Fully Updated(780) Before Turning Off The Pc (I Have Not Used Hibernate Since Crash No 1)

My Experience With Rm Has Not Been A Happy One!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
P.S. I HAD NO PC CRASHES PRIOR TO USING 5* "REGISTER MECHANIC"!SO WHAT IS GOING WRONG???????????????????????

Hi pedro0118,

Can you please perform a RM restore and send your log files to my email address. I'll private message you my email address.

To restore changes made to your system, please follow the procedure below:

1. Open Registry Mechanic.

2. Click the 'Restore' button in the main program window.

3. A list of backup files is displayed, along with the date and time of their creation. Place a check in each backup that you wish to restore, and then click the 'Restore' button.

4. When the restore is complete, click 'Finished' to return to the main program window.

Note that you may be required to re-start your system to activate the newly-restored keys in your registry file.

To send us your log files, please see below:

1. Start Registry Mechanic and complete a full scan (please do not complete a repair).

2. Close Registry Mechanic.

3. Navigate to the "\Program Files\Registry Mechanic\Log" and "\Program Files\Registry Mechanic\Data" folder and attach all the files in the "\Log" and "Data" directory. (Can you please zip up the whole 'Log' folder)

4. You may want to compress them using zip or rar as they can be rather large.

5. Please attach them to the email in your PM inbox.

As soon as we receive the logs, we will analyze them and inform you when we have the results.
