Scan Stops

I downloaded the free scan of Registry Mechanic last night and it worked beautifully for a couple of minutes, then when it started scanning my "Add/Remove Hardware Software" it found 5 errors and then stopped. I thought maybe it was just taking a long time searching, but I left it on all night and this morning it was still in the same place. Do I have to purchase it to do just one scan? I've been getting the blue "screen of death" a lot lately and cannot seem to successfully do a memory check. I have a Dell only about 3 years old. Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi Peggy,

Looks like the scan is stuck on a registry entry. Try a safemode scan. The RM scan will scan your entire computer for irrelevant entries, but the trial will only fix certain sections of the detected errors.
