Hi,
I am trying to install on a fresh version of Windows Vista (Business) and it comes up with this error
Runtime Error (at 107:571):
Internal error:Unknown constant
"ebe29494-5388-433a-9c25-2bceb6ecb75a"
I have tried to un-install and re-install, but I can't uninstall as it comes back up with this error! -
Anyway - any help would be appreciated.

Hi sneeze,
Thanks for the screenshot.
Please note that PC Tools AV is not supported on the Vista 64 bit. The developers are currently working on this and will release a future version of PCTAV which does.
specialist & jamiep, are you both running Vista 64 bit or XP 64 bit?

I also receive the error message when attempting to uninstall the software. How do I remove the software?
Thanks,

nclement, what operating system are you currently running?
If you wish to remove PCTAV, go to start-> Programs-> PC Tools AntiVirus-> Uninstall PC Tools AntiVirus.

Am running Windows 32bit Vista Home Premium. Have already tried uninstalling the software via add/remove programs. That is when I receive the same error message that sneeze sent you as an attachment.
Thanks for your help,
Neil

So were you successful in removing PCTAV?
Or is that error message still stopping this? If you can't uninstall it, you may need to re-install PCTAV over the top and try AChen's suggestion to uninstall PCTAV.

I was not able to remove the program. The same error message is displayed on every attempt to uninstall.
I downloaded and attempted to install the program again as you suggested but receive the following error message. "The setup files are corrupt. Please obtain a new copy of the program." I've deleted the downloaded install file and downloaded the file again three more times with the same error message each time.

I don't have spyware doctor installed on my machine. Do you mean delete the PC Tool Antivirus folder in safe mode?

The developers are probably still working on this. Give the PCTAV 3.6 Beta a try to see if this addresses the issue.
