I had Spy Sweeper before I got Spyware Doctor, and I'm wanting to switch to using Spyware Doctor alone. This program just seems much more thorough and simply better than Spy Sweeper in general . The only problem is that Spyware Dr. isn't protecting me from malicious URLs in Mozilla Firefox. OnGuard has a feature called SiteGuard with a check box for IE but not for Firefox. Is there a way to add Firefox to the SiteGuard list? When I use Firefox and come across a potentially malicious site or link, Spy Sweeper will warn me but Spyware Dr. doesn't seem to be giving me any indication that it is protecting my computer from a malicious URL. Spy Sweeper is the only program I've come across that worked with both browsers without problem. I'm tired of having to run both programs simultaniously. Together, their slowing down my computer. Can anyone give me any info? Thanks in advance!

Hi Cameron,

Spyware Doctor version 4 does not allow you to add Firefox to SiteGuard however, Spyware Doctor version 5 does. The version 5 is still a beta version though. Depends if you want to do some testing with the beta 5 or not. ;) It looks like sdv5 final release may be coming soon though.

Cheers,
Chippa

Are you still using SD4? Site Guard works with Firefox in SD5, which is currently in beta. You can download the beta from http://www.pctools.com/spyware-doctor/beta/ or it should be released fully very soon.

Edit: Chippa, you beat me to it! :)

Of course a better solution is just don't visit those sorts of sites! ;)
