Situation:
W2K, signed on as Administrator, single user, multiple partitioned HD's.
Problem:
In many instances, not all, when I try to delete a passive FOLDER I get a SHARING VIOLATION, FILE MAY BE IN USE message. I can delete the FOLDER contents, but even when empty I would still get the same message. Very upseting as I then have to make notes as to FOLDER names to delete them after next boot up.
In cases where there are nested folders, I am able to delted the sub sub folder, then the sub folder but not the Main Folder.
