I have just installed Spyware Doctor and run a scan, cleaning out about 110 infected items.
I then ran a scan using Spybot S&D. The Spybot scan turned up 4 persistant cookies that I have been unable to get rid of, all 4 of these went undetected with Spyware Doctor:
Mediaplex, Zedo, Marketengines, bluemountain
How do I clean these using Spyware Doctor?

I have just run the first Spyware Doctor scan on my computer.
I have found the Spyware Doctor Activity Report that followed after the scan but cannot quite figure out how you use that information.

Hey Amron
What version of Spyware Doctor are you using? Click on Help|About.
I did a search on the pctools infections database and found this:
Name: Adware.MediaPlex
Description: Adware.MediaPlex is an adware program which produces pop-up advertisements at random intervals.
Type: Adware
Also known as: Adware-Mediaplex [McAfee] Adware.Meplex [Symantec]
Removal: This infection can be removed using Spyware Doctor.

Oops, sorry.
Version 4.0.0.2621
Thanks, did not even know about the infections database. I am assuming this is located on their website?

Yep the infections database is on the pctools website:
http://www.pctools.com/mrc/infections/
Results with cookies may vary from different scanners as cookies are detected by badsites listed in the database. What is considered a bad site by other scanners may not be bad for SD, but yeh since they are cookies its not much of a threat.

Thanks for the reply.
I wanted to ask again one of my original questions that somehow got lumped into this thread (even though it was written as a separate thread) since there was no response to it.

I guess your post has been moved as it was related to your initial query.
Looks like it doesn't list the cookie names in the Spyware Doctor Activity Report.
However, after the initial scan, these cookies are displayed in the report once the scan has completed.
Another way to check this is going through your log files. Try doing a search for cookies as it should come up as:
example C:\Documents and Settings\admin\Cookies\admin@www.example[1].txt
c:\Program Files\Spyware Doctor\logs
